The Cuba Libre originated, naturally, in Cuba, during a free-Cuba movement that sprung up just after the Spanish-American War. The Cuba Libre originally called for the juice of one lime in addition to the rum and the Coke, and the lime juice makes all the difference.
Take 35ml (1.25oz) Cutty Sark Blend, Cola to top, Orange twist and Wedge of orange to garnish. Fill a highball glass with ice. Pour the Cutty Sark and Cola over the ice and squeeze the twist of orange over the top of the glass, releasing the citrus oils from peel. Garnish with the orange wedge and serve.
Take 1.5 oz. Cutty Sark Scotch Whisky, 1 Half Fresh Lime Squeezed, 2 Dashes Bitters & Ginger Beer. Build all ingredients over cubed ice in a tall glass and stir gently. Top up with fresh cubed ice if needed.

Take 60ml (2 oz) Cutty Sark Scotch Whisky. Build over fresh cubed ice
in short glass.
